Helloooo you wonderful future lawyers!

It has been a while! Okay it has been a lot more than just a while! But the blog is back in action!

Before I get down to business I would like to make a sweet observation that we are now in the [love]ly month of Febuary! (see what I did there?) Yes it is that time of the year again, a day to profess your love to your crush or vice versa. A day to send chocolates and flowers to those who you hold dear in your heart! Or as sceptics may note, simply another holiday where large businesses profit and make a lot of revenue.. just like Easter!

Girls and Guys keep an eye out as there is going to be a Valentines stall next Tuesday and Thursday around 12 noon where there will be cards, sweets and other lovely treats given out by none other than the lovely staff of the Law School!

Okay the mushy part is over, now lets get into academics!

We have Mark Field MP of London coming in to give a speech - this will be part 2 of our third Westminster General Election Debating Series aimed at increasing engagement in politics and the issues faced by our generation in advance of the general election. I highly recgcomend attending as this will not only be a worthwhile opportunity to become familiar with politics but it will be a chance to network as well with other like minded students and it will also be your chance to discuss current affairs with the MP!

This is happening today from 6pm - 8pm at Little Titchfield Street, Portland Hall.

The event is free but you have to register a ticket online!
